i think it could be time to give Molango or Jakey a little run out up front, think Molango could provide some strength and he has a touch if gets the service, leon goes wide as to create chances for others we need currie to continue to create chances like a wide man should. The midfield will welcome back nicolas and chippy in the centre and currie and hammond on the flanks, we need to go at crewe like a steam train defeat is not an option !!! :nono:

Funny one this, I was a guest of a client and it was a pretty good mix of a few Derby fans, Me and fans of other clubs just there for the jolly, have to say I must be getting old because I wouldnt have bothered going had I not got the invite because Pride Park is the coldest place known to man, its also a very difficult place to get a result.

Have to say it was the worst performance I have seen this season, heads seem to go down very quickly, the partnership up front is simply just not working, we need a quality striker to bring in during the transfer window or its going to be very difficult to stay up, even Derby fans seemed to be surprised they turned us over that quickly, they seem to view their team as very poor, still the atmosphere generated seemed to be pretty good.

I'd just like to congratulate Brighton's fans, in the face of a 3-0 defeat and homophobic chants they took it in good nature and kept supporting their team right up to the end. If (as the report says) we gave them a lesson in football, I think they gave us a lesson in getting behind their team.

Just like to give praise to your supporters, i didn't think you'd bring that many. Can't fault you, singing right to the end, even your players didn't give up completely and even stayed on the pitch to salute you.

I though PP was a great stadium and the atmosphere was good as well. The Derby fans really got behind their team.

We were very poor last night but we shouldn't take anything away from the Rams who played well. They are up to 8th position now. I guess we had about 700 - 800 last night?

Looked from a distance to be 800 at least, a good turnout I would say.

Not related to that, but the stewards warned me about taking photo's, saying it wasn't allowed because of copright!! Another guy was also told off for smoking.

the atmosphere was good - we sang pretty well i think. but when you travel that far to see such a load of bollox it does sweep through the crowd.

hats off to Derby -they were in great voice - singing most of the songs we sing i may add which was f***ing annoying!

been to better games/had better atmosphere's!!

hey ho!:smokin:

The atmosphere was one of the worst at an away game this season.

Probably didn't help that Derby were the only home fans this season to sing.

Adam el-abd was ill and he was getting caught out by reich who was a quality player. It could of been different if Leon Knight scored that free header. Chippy could string a pass together when he came on he did'nt look fit enough. But Derby will be up in the play off by the end of the season.

Starting to worry a bit now. I know it's points and not goal difference, but the three teams with worst GD are Albion, Gillingham, and Rotherham. The odds must be shortening on the three of us going down.

I could only make the Sunderland game, but listened last night and it would appear only two or three meaningful direct attempts were made on goal over both matches. I know these are decent sides we're playing, but I felt slightly let down on Saturday driving all that way and not really seeing a competitive game.

It seems at the moment that the best we can hope for is 1 goal in a match (if we're lucky) or just hoping the opposition don't score. 14 goals in 17 league games says it all, and even our two home wins were due to 2 own goals.

However much I think Virgo has done his best up front, we have to bring in at least one recognised striker NOW. Crewe on Saturday might seem a good chance to get 3 points, but Crewe have three decent strikers and I can see them scoring, which at present means a draw is the best we can hope for.

I've put £200 in to the Alive and Kicking fund, and would be willing to put some more cash into the 40 note fund if it's going to help pay for a new forward. How much is in this fund at present - does anyone know ?
