Morning!

Didn't think it went too well tonight, they were always one step ahead and knew how to get past us. We hardly saw the ball, and I cant remember too many shots at their goal either!

Match Report...

Not a massive crowd - about the same number of BHA fans as there were at Nottingham, however the away end was nearly empty at 90 minutes as loads of people left after Countys 3rd goal of the night! Attendance was 22,480...

What did everyone else think?

Listening to the radio it sounded like we were outplayed in every dept - especially midfield. Guess it may have been different if Leon's header had gone in at 0-0.

Not too disapointed though as I didn't honestly expect much out of the game anyway.

Gave up listening at 3-0

we were pathetic to be honest. played about 5-10 mins good football around 65th-70th minute but that was it.

oatway was useless, so was harding. their first and third goals were good moves. second, currie was kind of at fault, other than that he was one of our better players.

knight looked good on the ball but why is he constantly on the wing? god knows. not sure why carpenter didnt start?

they were all over us in the first half, and were definitely the loudest home fans ive seen for a long time.

hinselwood and el abd where poor in there defending there winger ran riot in the first half until MM changed it around.

gave away the ball all the time and just over run in the middle lacking the fight last night

but i agree that the derby fans where top notch a lot of noise throught the whole game

Its hard to see where we are going to get the goals to drag us out the dogfight should we fall into it. Frankly the midfield isn't creative enough.I'm kind of pinning alot of my hopes on OGH coming back and setting the division alight (thats when you know you have problems) . If we could bring in a loan player I would bring in goalscorer to actually play alongside Virgo with Knight to come on off the bench, thing is we know this won't happen so we have to work with what we got, stick together and crucially continue picking up points at home.

Virgo isn't a striker - there is no way that Knight should be dropped if either is, he has looked the better of the pair in the last half-dozen games or so. Virgs is trying, but isn't really doing anything up front, and doesn't help Knight much either. A new striker is still the priority to play with Knight.

Virgo isn't a striker but is getting a few goals. Knight is playing well but to no avail. Given 30 mins from the bench Im sure he'd produce more......Its all irrelevant anyway cos we are skint !

We were very very poor.

To be honest, I came away thinking that we are likely to be relegated as we are getting worse, not better, whilst the other teams around us are improving. Rotherham keep scoring goals at least.

Apart from one poor free header from Leon, we never even looked like scoring. Adam Virgo was no threat to Derby and could not have looked more out of place.

To survive, we need to score more goals, clubs at this level all have quality strikers who will score goals regularly. We don't. We must bring in at least one good quality striker fast. The Board must find some money unless they have no intention of fighting to keep us up.

I am not slagging off MM as I think he doing a great job, but whynot get one of the youngsters up front with him at least!!

Rotherham are scoring goals with an on-loan striker from Derby (who also got sent off last night). I doubt that he'll line up against us.

Gillingham look like they're improving but are still several points adrift, but I still think that either Forest or Leeds are going to be the surprise relegation candidates (perhaps both).

Forget the away games - the next 3 home games are absolutely vital to our season. Win them all and I'm sure we'll be safe.

Good idea but unless the UK currency changes to Planters peanuts then we can only Loan or get a bargain basement striker!!

Worry not though, we cant have good results every game, I think we will stay up. But hold on for a bumpy ride this season!!

WE NEED FALMER!! (but we all know that!)

the atmosphere was good - we sang pretty well i think. but when you travel that far to see such a load of bollox it does sweep through the crowd.

hats off to Derby -they were in great voice - singing most of the songs we sing i may add which was f***ing annoying!

been to better games/had better atmosphere's!!

hey ho!:smokin:

I know that it is likely to be on loan. But there is no sign of that, and it will still cost money for some/all of the player's wages.

yeah.... but I for one wouldnt want MM to go and sign a striker just for sake of signing a striker. I think it is well documented that he knows what we need and I'm sure he is waiting to come across or get the right man!

Have faith!!

Yes, I saw 3. One little guy, and a spotty kid both in your shirts, and a young woman with dark celtic looks with a scarf. I didn't hear them sing though.:jester:
