Adams has studied at many of the top clubs in Europe and is reputed to be a very good coach. He also knew when and how to defend sufficiently well to play for Arsenal and England with distinction irrespective of the 'donkey' tag. George Graham has been out of management too long for consideration as a manager, but I feel that his experience coupled with Adams enthusiasm would make an ideal pairing. He would have learnt from his mistakes at Portsmouth and Wycombe and we could reap the benefit.
Another suggestion I made was Gary Stevens and Alan Mullery so you can see I am very much in the old head and new upstart combination.
Regretably it is looking more likely it is going to be Coppell and the reason I dont want SC is because I think that we need stability and that he will not provide that and will do like he has with Reading run out when the going gets tough.
God I'm glad you are not making the appointment!
