Your turn then. See if you can do better
That's not how criticism works.
Your turn then. See if you can do better
At least 30k on the march and again no mainstream media wanted to report it, Why ??
Over Ten Thousand turned up that Day
Some made speeches, some had their say
Your turn then. See if you can do better
F.L.A
It's ****ing gay.
Was the poet worried about his work scanning properly? Or were there perhaps not quite as many Islamophobes there as BF thought?
The poem was about the first march in June where 10k attended
F.L.A
It's ****ing gay.
F.L.A
It's ****ing gay.
Enough is enough, was the Cry
We’ve seen enough innocents die
We must do something the people said
This can’t go on, our streets turning red
With the blood of our children, and innocent folk
The government do nothing, we’re becoming a joke
Across the land a call went out
And needless to say there was never was a doubt
That the true Men of England, and some ladies too
Answered the call, and formed a crew
A crew made up from every firm in the land
One big Football Army, who all would stand,
Who all knew the score, and how to respond
Who would all stick together and form a Bond
Let’s organise a march, somebody said
We will knock all our differences on the head
We’ll all march together, side by side
No Flags, No Colours, No Songs, just pride
Pride in each other for making a stand
And showing the World, that we are a Band
A band Of Brothers, Sisters and Chums
Fathers, Grandads, Grandmas and Mums
Not Hooligans, Not Yobs, Not casuals or Wrong Uns
But People who care, for our Country and Young Ones
Our MOTO will be, Together we’re Stronger,
And on the day of the march the Column grew longer
Over Ten Thousand turned up that Day
Some made speeches, some had their say
Then all lined up and off it did trundle
The march for peace, not for a bundle
Everyone thought that this couldn’t be right
Rivals getting together, and not want to fight
But what the Media, the Police and the State didn’t know
That all were in agreement to give it a go
To peacefully march and to put on a show
Of solidarity, and strength without the Agro
St Pauls to London Bridge was the route the march took
Cars peeped the horns, People stopped to look
Applause rang out, whistles and cheers
No anger, or hatred, blood shed or tears
On London Bridge Wreaths were laid,
A minutes silence and speeches were made
Respect was shown by everyone
A force against Evil had begun
Out with Extremists is our Cry
We don’t want to see anymore die
No One Likes Us, we don’t care
We’ll keep the true flag flying high in the air
And when the Lads go marching in
We’ll march on together, until we win
Until this country acts against extremist scum
Until the Government realise we’ll end what we’ve begun
We are not going to go away
We will be back another day
But until then our numbers grow stronger
At the next march the column will be longer
We’ll stand and be counted, Side by side
We’re Stroger Together, we won’t hide
I quite like the poem. However having been on a march (early 80s) that ended up in Hyde park and that actually did involve at least 500,000, and that was barely reported in the media, I came to the conclusion that marching is an act of self indulgence and virtue signaling. Whether it is 'black lives matter', 'Maggi Maggi Maggi, Out, Out, Out', 'against nuclear weapons' or football 'lads'.... it is always a bit self indulgent, slightly awkward, and ignored (unless there is kerfuffle and arrest, in which case there is tut tutting and mocking as well).
That said, I cycled past the wreathes many times this week and felt something. There certainly was a BHA wreath. What I felt was mostly sadness about the deaths though, TBH. Ironically the deaths on Waterloo bridge were caused by a lone nutter, and extremism appears to have been irrelevant (albeit killing random peeople is extreme in itself, whatever the excuse) so the venue wasn't the best.
Some of the wreathes were badly made, and have disintegrated. That, or, they have been kicked in by rival supporters (many wreathes are in perfect nick). That is also rather sad.
By the way, it was Waterloo Bridge. Poetic licence?
I hope this movement evolves into something constructive. It may well do so. The odds are stacked against though, and it could easily become a vehicle for Islamophobia. Unfortunately it certainly will if folk think 'and why not?'. Considered strategy works but howls of anguish and emoting, plus male footy rival bonding, will fail. Find yourselves some muslim footy lads - tons at Leicester, for example, and then you are better placed.
I have no 'active' solution so good luck to the footy lads for being more proactive than me.
Most embarrassing post in this entire thread which takes some doing ... well done you.
Waterloo Bridge
Apologies - there are lots on Waterloo Bridge including a BHA one, but I see from photos online there are loads (more by the look of it) on Londong Bridge too.
yep, you keep on defending extremists ,when are you and the others on here going to say something against MUSLIM EXTREMISTS as you seem to dislike anyone who say's anything against themGood grief. That is absolutely shit.

It certainly does with nitwits like you on here.
That was The Fairy parody account, but maybe the parody was true ?I think the issue with people like yourself is that you put all Muslim people in the same brackets as extremists. Didn't you post something earlier about bulldozing down Mosques?
Actually how old are you ?
Your replies strike me as someone with terrible acne who is an only child and about 13 years of age
