Reminds me of McDougald against Fulham in an FA Cup replay which was on Sky(1995?). Was stood at the back of the north stand. One of our players ballooned his penalty over the bar during our shoot-out defeat.

What a dreadful night that was. I remember him being clean through in (possibly) the last minute but side footing a pathetic shot straight at the goalie.

I also recall Gull's Eye describing him as having "the pace of a greyhound and roughly the same footballing ability." My 14-year-old self agreed, heartily.

Snap! I was 14 at the time as well. Junior had at least two gilt-edged chances in extra time. It was pissing it down as well. Those were the days(before Toys r us).
