Nacional defender Juan Izquierdo has died after collapsing on the pitch during a Copa Libertadores match earlier this month with an irregular heartbeat.

How sad.
Scored some great goals for us in an injury hit time at the club.

RIP.
Erm, wasn't that Jose? Or does he go by different names? Still sad even if not one of ours,

Different person. For one Jose is Columbian. This poor soul was Uruguayan.

It's easy to get them confused. Once you've seen Juan you've seen them all.

In the Reuters report about Uruguayan football being suspended, after this poor guy's collapse - they used a stock photo of Jose Izquierdo playing for us. Sloppy, unacceptable work.
I had to read through another article to work out it wasn’t our former player.
