Ahh, just seen NJ's answer on the other thread, it is indeed a lift to the coach park (as also mentioned by cw00). I didn't realise there was such a gradient between the coach park and the stadium to justify needing a lift installed, so that was definitely news to me. Be interesting to see how that looks when its finished.

I didn't neever.

According to Natterjack, the lift has been in the plans since the beginning.

I am also confused. This has been known from time to time.
The gaps for the doors (if there are adjacent gaps facing the stadium) do not seem to bear any relation to the stand it is next to, unless its to let people walk out onto the roof.

Spoils the lines a bit as well dunnit, having that block of oncrete just plonked there. Is it temporary ? I don't understand.
access to the fuhrerbunker no doubt

Looks to me as if the Floodlights have been installed on the under hang walkway if you take a look ?

Thats specifically what its there for as far as I'm aware. Im sure NJ will now tell me I'm wrong and I will look a fool  but I thought it was always meant to be a lighting gantry so that access to the floodlights didn't require a cherry picker.

That stadium is going to look absolutely AMAZING for night games, with the light glowing through those blue roofs. It will be pure stadium PORN.

Come April, when you travel from Saunders Park up to the viaduct, your wish will come true!
The blue and white road to the Amex will look stunning.
See photo of last April, but since then, this scheme has doubled in size!

That is just lovely, I might just have to use that road to get to the stadium in the springtime.

I can't stand those footbridges where you have to walk about a mile to get over the tracks/road. What is wrong with some steps (as well as the ramp).

Steps are quite inaccessible for people whose mobility is impaired - for example -to get to the top level of the San Siro in Milan, you walk up and round seemingly endless slopes and spirals.... but it works without a step insidght

started out rather differently tho.......

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Maybe we can hold hands and skip through the flowers to the game.

*simper*

Hold hands by all means, but don't you dare tread on those flowers.

I've bounced this thread not just for its own sake ... but to give people the chance to see the effect of the new NSC on how the pictures come out.

With the whole of a JS stadium picture now on view - for the first time for me - I'm struck not just by the progress that the stadium is making, but by the fact that Graeme is a bloody good photographer.

Top stuff.
