And another Albion product makes his first team debut, and what a venue and an occasion to do it!

Joshua had a spell in the Crystal Palace academy as a youngster but I guess the Eagles have no need for European competition standard youngsters.
He got involved and wanted the ball. Good debut and he will probably be disappointed he didn’t get a shot on target when put through. Our squad is threadbare but 7th in the PL and we’ve qualified for the KO stages. What a time for us and the team. UTA

Raw, looked promising and got involved. Good free-kick won at the end. As with Hinshelwood, needs must right now and I think we’ll reinforce in January (as well as a couple of players returning). Did well and great for his experience and development tonight

Really gets about. First effort almost too confident, second he seemed to hesitate a bit. Looks like he's a talent who'll make things happen. He's a winger isn't he?

At the moment he looks an ideal forward to come on for the last 15 minutes, either to nick a goal or rough up the defenders. He’s been doing it for the U21s this season.

He did well, I'm impressed. Just another player I've never heard of, slotting in seamlessly, we seem to be good at that. Well done to the lad. (y)

I wouldn't describe him as a winger. He can play a variety of attacking positions and has pace - if I had to choose someone in the first team squad who his game most resembles, I would say maybe Joao Pedro? Not an out-and-out winger or centre-forward but pacey, strong and technically gifted.

He played for Lambeth Tigers at U-12 schoolboy level against the Eastside United Football Academy in the London FA Saturday Cup Final and in the brochure it described him as "Forward - Leading goal scorer who always makes something out of nothing. Can score a variety of goals, from long range strikes to goal poaching." I think that is still a pretty valid pen picture.
