Shouldn't we be praising him for having a backbone and standing up to the ESL idea?

If that's what has really happened.

Would be grand if that has happened and he were to hold a news conference denouncing his ERSTWHILE employer and the ESL. Tho doubtless a clause in his pay-off deal forbidding such a thing

Not a chance.

He was offered the job before. Could see it happening again. He got most of the attributes that most of the former England managers had: difficult/annoying personality, best years behind him, not a fan of exciting football, and would want a fat paycheck.

Whether it's true or not, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mourinho claim that was the case to try and get fans and media onside!

He will probably have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. He won't want to lose his big pay-off.

This, imagine Potter with Kane and Son!!

I know I am considered deluded about GP by quite a few on here so you won’t be surprised that I think he would be PERFECT for Spurs. Don’t let it happen

For those who say “not experienced enough”remember nobody won anything worthwhile without gambling now and then

Of course there are some who will say he’s shit so a laughable suggestion. I can take it :lolol:

For all of Potters qualities, and all due respect to him - if the ESL is to go ahead, I'm not sure he is the caliber / profile / image they'd be looking for in the inaugural season

Rumour is he kicked off at Levy about ESL

Were that to be true, if I were Levy I'd have to take a long hard look at my life choices.

Imagine being a person in a position that allows Jose take the moral high ground over you.

They might as well go the whole hog and start writing storylines for the ESL, making everything extra dramatic for the viewers. A bit like a football version of WWE

If I were Levy I'd be looking for someone to bring the right style of football back and, with the squad and spending power they have, develop a team of winners! That's got to mean Potter would be in your thinking.
