Ryan Mason & Chris Powell takeover for the rest of the season. Big move given they are in the cup final next week

He had a big contract so would cost a lot to sack him

Perhaps Spurs feel they are about to come into some money

He's mugged a lot of the top clubs off for a stash of money and done a job that I could have done better.

Now all I want is big Sam to disappear.

He is one of the managers who made his name as leading one of the smaller clubs competing in the CL maybe he has had a say and been sacked

Obviously GP's name will now come into the fray for the job next season.

I can't see it myself. They will want someone with a proven ability to manage big name players.

It increases the chance Kane and or Son will leave

Deliberate timing as it would be harder to sack a manager who had just won a cup. Not that I expect Spurs to win that game although they do probably have a slightly better chance now!

But whatever you think about Jose, he wins trophies at every club he has managed. Spurs are desperately lacking trophies, seems a crazy move.

Probably BS but rumours he refused to take the players onto the training ground over the clubs proposed move to the ESL.
