Those stats are not wholly reliable. Mark Lawrenson was sold to Liverpool for £900,000, and not the £1.6m stated there.

Agreed, I thought the deal with Liverpool was £900,000 for Lawrenson + Jimmy Case, but that site says we paid £350,000 for Case, (perhaps that was Liverpools valuation of him). Either way, the £1.6m quoted is incorrect.
