Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Charlton players seem to like coming here :)
Sounds like a squad signing definitely, if it happens of course

He signed a 4 year contract last summer with Charlton.
Slade needs the funds from this deal to rebuild.
Would Slade be interested in a part swap with either JFC or Ince?

Sounds like a promising signing. Hopefully as well as Stephens staying rather than to replace him.

Wonder if this means we've given up on Sidwell or just that we're culling our back up midfielders (Crofts already gone and letting Holla, Ince and JFC go).

I have it on good authority that Sidwell will be joining Fulham.

From what I gather the deal is pretty much done, just agreement on personal terms etc

If he's anything like the last bloke from Charlton, then get in the van!

Asked a Charlton fan I follow on Twitter about him:

"Proper Charlton lad, but one of those players that we were never going to keep. Has his off days, but excellent otherwise."
"Brighton will suit him, and he'll suit Brighton. Seeing him alongside Stephens is going to leave me in tears."
[Comparing him to Stephens] "Different players, but would complement each other well. Cousins does the dirty work. Presses, regains possession, next pass."

Sounds like he'd fit into Hughton's system well

Going on the description above he sounds like he'd be a very good signing. If he's 22, got three years left on his contract and is their player of the season for the past two seasons how much do you reckon he'll cost us?
