Surely, the important thing about this is that Barry Lloyd is responsible for wasting at least £55K of the club's money. Tiltman again! Lloyd Out ?

For every Tiltman or farrington there is a gall or small. Every manager has good signings and bad. Though I'm still unconvinced whether a full time employee such as Lloyd does any better job than a scout of old who just claimed expenses....

Fozzie coming back from operation and with an increased risk of injury as he gets older. Murray wants off (please don't go). Davies unproven. So RS has announced that he's still looking for a striker or two - calm down.

Where's Akinbadbuy nowadays? Could carry on the job where Lloyd Owusu left off.

Bayo Akinfenwa?

Stillat Northampton as far as I know -journeyman in the Owusu mould and last few seasons possibly his best - age still under 30? - would certainly be a useful target man

No, I meant Ade Akinbiyi. And to answer my own question (just looked it up on wikipedia), he's currently playing for Houston Dynamo, whatever THAT is.

Wikipedia entry for our Ade also contains this intriguing section...

Home Life
Away from football, Ade is a keen animal lover, and is renowned for owning both a spider monkey and a medium-to-large gibbon. He recently fought off a lawsuit claiming he kept them tied to the foot of his bed, though the rumours persist.

Could have moved clubs before but preferred to sit on his contract here. Good riddance.

Think getting rid of JD shows we are about to sign a new striker or two and need him of the wage bill. Good news because we have no depth in that department at all. Looking forward to seeing who the mighty RS has brought in. :albion2:

Don't bother rising to this shite, from someone who sees 1 game a season. Davies could come good. He just needs to have a good pre season and get some confidence.

WRONG.

My dad attends quite a few away matches, when possible to get the time off from work, so therefore has a valid opinion (and that similar to the majority on NSC) about Craig Davies.

I wa stold by somebody whose opinion I respect, that nobody including the management staff knew anything about Dixon he was signed by DK and everybody thought he was a trialist until they were told that we had bought him. I was also told that Tunnicliffe throw is amzing and that Smith is a very good goalkeper but dony bother asking me my source coz I won tell you.

So far this season, Akinbiyi has played a total of 165 minutes for Houston, with no goals and only one shot so far. He played 23 of those minutes tonight and his total contribution was to be offside once.

Not exactly setting the league on fire.
