Sorry if this is old news

Former Aldershot forward Jonny Dixon has announced his retirement from football at the age of 25.

Dixon featured in the Shots' Conference-winning side of 2008 before moving to Brighton for £56,000 in the following January transfer window.

He struggled to break into the side, making only two league starts and was released by the Albion in July.

Dixon will concentrate on his music management business, in which he has been a partner since his teenage years.

That's ok

No it's not.

Bloody right Tom.

Seriously though, the time it takes to write 'sorry if old news'/'bound to be fixtures'/'probably be a bit late' etc, etc could easily be spent using the SEARCH function and typing in the main subject.

On this occasion a simple search for DIXON will tell you this was yesterdays news

I do think it's a shame the little amount of chances he was given. No doubt he wasn't good enough, but a few starts in the JPT last year wouldn't have hurt?
