With there being a major shortage of decent managerial options other than Pulis which seems unlikely with Premier League jobs soon to become available I can see a lot of merit in Jones staying in charge temporarily as he has made a big difference so far and will know better than anyone where we need strengthening.

Hughton doesn't inspire me with a great deal of confidence so let's hold fire for a while and keep with the man who averages two points per game which is in stark contrast to our season prior to this.

FFS. One win. Does NOT mean Jones should be our next permanent manager. However, credit where credit is due to Nathan and the players for tonight.

Great win.

No one on here knows what Jones is like behind the scenes, how much respect and loyalty he has from the players. I know I don't, but if the vibe is positive and we start winning, give him a go.

WE have seen this thing before, a new man in charge, a few good results then back to bad results. But i didn't see the game tonight so i cant judge either way. It's up to Bloom, Barber i guess.

Tinselhead started with a win, then a draw, then about 10 losses and sacked. Be warned.

So his team talk before the match was shite and his team talk in the 2nd half was great?
Sounded like we should've been buried by half time and got lucky?Draws are becoming tedious now and we're playing some also super shite sides at home and not winning any of them.

We'll lose at fulham guaranteed

Pleased for Jones and hope the last couple of games is enough for the club to ensure he retains a position within the club and for the fans to appreciate his talents more. However I do not believe he is the man to take us forward in the long term. Great result tonight but listening to the commentary a big part of that was due to Holla and Ince who gave us a solid base which we have been crying out for all season. I cannot shake the feeling that had JFC a and Gardner not been ill we would have seen a different starting eleven and perhaps a different result.

Not that this makes much difference as results aside I imagine bloom already knows who will likely be our next manager

Jones post match interview is excellent. A breath of fresh air.

So 'Tinselhead' got worse from game 1 to 2 (a win followed by a draw)?

Jones has started with a draw and now progressed to a win. Your trend is already discombobulated.

Do we not learn from the past.

Wood, Hinshelwood, Booker and Booker/ White.

involves different years
involves different players
involves different managers
involves different financial clout
involves different stadium
involves different teams in the division

So, apart from literally almost every variable having been altered, you're right. It's PROOF it can't work....

Interesting post match interview with Solly. Nathan stated he had changed a few things, but Solly had not seem to notice any change....

Jones deserves his chance. Keep him in the hotseat until the end of the season. If he gets us to within a whisker of the play-off places come May we can bring Adams back for Part 3.

Keep Nathan Jones as no.1.
