Can't stand him personally. Can't watch him, can't listen to him.

There was a great throw away line from Mark Lemar (who, for me, is a genius on the radio, but I'm sure is equally loathed) when standing in for Wossy on R2 a while ago....

“That's it for my stint. Jonathan will be back next week, talking about himself and telling the usual series of lies".

Probably tongue in cheek, unfortunately, but spot on.

I gave a vote for Legend, I quite like his show, but not that fussed, but the Misses absolutely loves it, which tips the scale towards Legend, we've gotta keep 'er indoors happy now, haven't we !

Ross lives near my mum down in Dorset. He shops locally, is a normal down to earth bloke in real life, and is well-liked for not playing the stuck-up celebrity. When asked about his twattish on-screen persona, his usual replies run along the lines of: "oh, that's not me, that's just my twattish on-screen persona."

I like him. Although it would be better if he wasn't on EVERYTHING.

Ross is good TV and is not afraid to push the boundaries with his guests, which is fine but he can get carried away and overstep the mark.

The Jimmy Carr interview was out of order and I'm amazed Carr held it together, he looked well pissed off as he left the stage. Total lack of respect by Ross.

This wasn't a pre-planned stunt?

Why would Carr agree to being made to look like a **** on TV? Even Steve McLaren insisted on a £2 1/2 million fee for that...

Hey, it's called publicity, and you do it regularly on NSC

Tosser. A good interviewer lets the person being interviewed to the talking. Why does the BBC bother getting all these big names for his TV show when all he does is talk over them and about himself for the entire duration of every interview. When his radio show comes on at work everyone rushes to change the station.

His Podcast is worth a look. So's his wife. I found not being fussy in life reduces limitations.

Ross is a celebrity who I've met not once but twice. Astonishingly, given the number of people he must meet, he remembered me the second time he met me.

I sat next to him at dinner and, as Truffers said, his private behaviour is a world away from his public persona. He was thoroughly pleasant, charming and good-humoured. Most people who met him were equally impressed.

.... I think he's paid too much money though.
