Go back a few decades and that most certainly wasn't the case. Derby games between the two clubs were truly massive. The Palace rivallry was largely manufactured during the 1970's.

I would say the rivalry developed in the 70's. It was definitely not manufactured.

And to be honest whenever we play them a lot of our fans have bad experiences of their hooligans.

AlwYs remember we played them at the Goldstone and they were in the east terrace....they stormed in to the pitch and headed for the north stand, who scattered ...

Glad we don’t play the “twats” anymore.

You don't remember when sets of both fans in the South spilled out onto the pitch and went toe to toe. Right proper skirmish pretty even by all a counts too. Yes they are a very proper nawtey bunch.:thumbsup:
