For £10m plus based on one season, no.

Hemed is 2.5 years older, so means he would be worth about £7.5M based on that! Which is just ridiculous.

Hmmm not sure I agree and I think this boy would only add to us.

We could of had him last summer for an extra 500k more than we payed for Hemed, we even submitted a bid that Angers rejected.

To pay £10 million would be ludicrous

Aren't Man U prepared to buy the third best midfielder in France for a world record after letting him go for next to nothing? I think I could handle us buying the lad for a few quid more than we could have, assuming Stephens is gone.

I know this has been suggested, and knocked back by some previously. But I somehow can't imagine that we haven't at least been in touch with Leicester to enquire about currently out of favour Leo... even if only on loan. His wages would be considerable, but if it's a gamble that would land us promotion, with all its financial rewards. Maybe Tony might take that gamble.
As for Leo, I have faith enough in him, to believe that if we had a deal with him. He'd not turn the car around!

Anyway tomorrow's Tuesday....the day things happen at the Amex!:)

Hasnt Derek Chapman got a helicopter he could either take TB PB and CH etc to Bristol or pick him and his agent up and bring them to Lancing if we are that interested.

Don't worry, I've got my chopper out and it's ready for action at a moments notice.

I think we've had our fill of previous players coming back. Leo is another Murray, another Hemed. Let's open our net a bit.

He was a good prospect with 18 months behind him at Angers, now he's done it again with BC and if he leaves I think it will be to the Prem. We are a step up but why rock the boat (in his eyes). I expect he'd have the option of playing in the Prem very soon.

Think would be good but unfortunately would believe BC in not selling (now) to a champ rival

I would think they'd hold onto him for another year, keep them up and maybe progressing higher than last time, THEN cash in. From the way people wet themselves over Vydra, I think even with a mediocre extra season he'd be about 10 million this time next year to someone in these crazy time, but with another good 6 months or year behind him he'll get snapped up for more.

It's not what we'd do, it's what a chairmen would do so who knows. A comparison for me would be Ulloa who was 2.5 and then 12 soon after, and prices have only gone up since. Think when he moved from Angers be similar position to when Ulloa jumped to us. One purple patch is just that, but a second one straight after, in England, means big money to an English club.

But they have put him on the market?
