Worthing
I'm not quite up to speed over the last few pages, i presume that is likely there will be a stella signing 12 days after Xmas. Shame its not on 1st January. Are we speculating it will be this Argie fella?

Presumably he'll need a work permit or does he have a European passport?

Very odd that the 'Where can Poyet go' thread is that high up, it only has 4 pages

Cheers for that. I can see it going to at least position 9 but Official Running Thread always likely to overtake it. That threads got legs!

I hope our recruitment team, manage to secure the deal(s) they want by the beginning of January not the end. I love the fact that deals are now such that there is little idea until the deal is nearly done. If Calleri was signed it would be a gamble but one worth taking in my opinion. I expect he is one of a number of targets, we chased Marshall but ended with Murphy and he has settled in well. March is now being more consistent and hopefully Greer and Lua Lua are nearing a return.
Having seen Derby Birmingham and Derby recently, we have nothing to fear. Burnley mugged Blackburn, are well organised like us and not prolific scorers. Our game is a nailed on 0-0. Derby reminded me of us under Gus against Forest in the 2nd half, pass, pass, pass and no end product. One effort on goal in 45 minutes was pretty poor. Birmingham poor against Wolves but banged in 5 agsinst a shaky Fulham defence.Rowett doing a good job.
What is interesting is that i don't see any clubs coming out of the pack under the play off sides at the moment. The fixtures in the coming weeks are tough for all the top six, not just us. Up there still at the end of December and i'm sure Tony and the recruitment team will surprise us. In fact i believe they will do that anyway.

I'm guessing a left back on loan before Burnley ( unless we loan in Ward, in which case it will be after the match ), and 2 full incoming transfers in January.

Decent though Rosenior has been at LB another decent natural Left Back would be a sensible move at this point IMO.

I'd like a loan striker now, but only if they have the quality to make a real difference.

Wouldn't hurt Leicester to lend us Leo for a month. Though perhaps they've got the arse and feel like they paid us too much for him, as he's only played 3 times this season.

If you look in The other stuff, you will see the true purpose of this Forum, it doesn't appear to be football. Lots of higher view counts than this thread.
