Update:

We couldn’t sign him because our experience in South American transfers was not extensive enough.

But now he plays for São Paulo Futebol Clube and is their leading goal scorer this season. A teammate of Lucas Beraldo. Was our NSC scout at their match against LDU Quito on Saturday? The Brazilian side got knocked out of the Copa Sudamericana by the Ecuadorian side.

Of course, we developed our South American singing knack with young Billy Arce from Independiente where we were later to beat off Manure and Newcastle by grabbing Caicedo whilst the Arce was on loan to LDU Quito.

And as for signing Calleri who failed at West Ham? Keep the faith!
