My neighbour drinks brake fluid every single day. He said he is not addicted, and can stop any time he wants.

This sounds positively dangerous. Brake fluid (like antifreeze) contains ethylene glycol, which can kill even after drinking a small amount.

Call 999 at once, early symptoms are often inebriation, abdominal pain and vomiting, but untreated can lead to reduced consciousness, seizures, and can lead to kidney failure or permanent brain damage, or even death.

In short, I would suggest that your friend limit himself to a range of lighter breakfast alcohols, such as gin, vodka and whisky.

I'm not so sure it's brake fluid if I'm honest. These days craft gins come disguised as all sorts of other things. I suggest an eye test for you and The Priory for your neighbour.

Some so called 'Craft Gin' tastes much how I imagine brake fluid tastes anyway.

Such a bandwagon product, and hardly a craft to boil up some cheapo vodka or surgical spirits and chuck in some stuff to make/mask the flavour.

What the hell is happening with people!
My neighbour’s kids were caught drinking battery acid and the other fireworks.
Old bill have charged one and let the other off.
What have they charged him with? Drinking battery acid is obviously very dangerous / stupid, but what law is it breaking? Police overstepping their mark, if you ask me.

That strikes me as a really bad idea. Might lead to kids drinking cans of engine oil when they were expecting gin! I'd expect a recall to be issued by the appropriate authorities.

[Also, as an aside, it's worth checking out their website. Points to them for not using the usual, boring e-commerce templates that we've seen a million times before: Engine ]
