With the outbreak of Equine Flu, a Press Photographer thought he would go to the racing stables to get a photo of a row of horses in their stables, all with their heads looking out. He thought that this photo would go well with one of the stories regarding the virus outbreak.
He lined up his shot and was about to press the shutter-button when one of the horses quickly moved out of view, ruining the perfect photo. He tried again and the same thing happened. After several attempts, he was still unable to get a shot of every animal at the same time due to this one uncooperative one.
Apparently, it was a Shier horse.

That doesn't make sense, the size of a shire, even if it were a companion horse, would be a risk to the race horses. Are you sure you've got this correct?

Even if he could get the Shire horse to put it's head out, it would be a completely different size and height when compared to the other horses. It would ruin the composition of the photo, and would therefore not make a very good picture anyhow, He needs to re-think the shot.

If the horse was shy, why did it not simply hide until the photographer had gone, rather than continuing to keep putting its head back out? I think there must be some other explanation, as the one you have advanced does not stand up to scrutiny.
