Liverpool would be so much funnier if they hadn't won a trophy this season with a fair chance of a 2nd to follow.

Hopefully they will be pure chuckles next May: an 11th place finish, no trophies and King Kenny still in charge with their "marvellous" fans still backing him and his twattish interviews 100%.

Awful lot of vitriol against LFC on here; a club 200+ miles away with no connection to the Albion, or interest in the Albion.

Cause, either:
Knocking the Albion out of both cups live on TV, including the the embarrassing 6 goals; or

Hateful southern PLASTIC Manure or Chelski fans, masquerading as Albion fans.

Strange.

This.

The Albion's wilderness years left many twats in Sussex to become plastic fans of mega spending ManU & Chelsea.
With the emptiness caused by Mancini's lot winning on Monday nighy, and the embarrassment of the AVB and Terry affairs,
these twisted plastics are trying to gain some solace from the league position of their hated enemies.

As above, total rubbish. Personally speaking.

Or their own vast plastic support and dickhead of a manager who is backed to the hilt by too many bindippers that didn't give Woy five minutes.

I think it's between Liverpool and Portsmouth for all the above reasons, but I'd throw QPR in as my outside bet. Moronic fans who hounded a manager out who had won them promotion back to the EPL after 16 years away just six months earlier, utter disbelief that they're struggling compared to the teams they come up with despite playing hoofball compared to Swansea's sexy football and Norwich's effective workmanlike effort, plus millions wasted on a succession of old has-beens who were bought on name alone. It's been a joke on pretty much every level.

QPR are a very good shout actually

It's funny, most years Newcastle would have got loads of votes in this poll but they've been completely outclassed on the joke front this season. Even at the halfway stage after the ground renaming I thought they would pick up their game and also slide down the table but it just hasn't happened.

My own dislike of Liverpool stems from the fact that they were the Man United of the 1980s. Growing up round here, I was surrounded at school by kids wearing Liverpool shirts, who couldn't find the place if you gave them a map of the north west and told them it was the bit across the river from Birkenhead. Let's not kid ourselves that they weren't plastic fans.

Even now, Liverpool maintain the delusion that they are all "true" fans, and not the same old gloryseekers who latch on to Chelsea or Man United these days.

It's rubbish. We all enjoy it when a big club is perceived to have failed: no matter how many mickey mouse trophies Liverpool pick up, their league season has been bordering on catastrophic, particularly considering the money they spent on players.

I couldn't care less that Liverpool knocked us out of the cups: there's no disgrace in that. Nor do I support Man United or Chelsea for a second. I'm a lifelong BHA fan and that'll never change. But yes, I do find it funny when the so called giants of the game (in Liverpool's case, they haven't been in that category since about 1989 but I'll humour them) don't match up to their own lofty expectations.

Surely West Ham need to be on the list, obviously if they go up they will of saved themselves some embaressment, but as Favourites (or one of) to go up this season, with the amount of money they must be spending on wages alone for Nolan, Green Cole AND FAT SAM himself.

What Edna said. You are 100% Wrong. I just dislike Liverpool FC. I don't like the attitude that their fanbase puts across of being so cheeky/hilarious/fantastic/hard done by and the abuse they gave a victim of racism was nothing less than a disgrace. Also the Suarez & Kenny Dalglish thing, the manager was bang out of order supporting him in the way he did. I had some respect for KD as a player he was excellent, but his failure to grasp the situation with Suarez and subsequent denial, and general off handishness has made me dislike him now too.

I'm in total agreement, except to say that Liverpool ARE a giant of the game. They won the Champions League only seven years ago.

Man Utd?

Real possibility of ZERO trophies. FA Cup 3rd round EXIT. Champions League group stage EXIT. Losing to Palace in the Carling Cup.

All this amid the backdrop of spunking millions year in year out.

In this situtation I ignore Rangers and Pompey as this is clearly a problem with each club that has been going on for a few years and has finally reached it's boiling point + i wouldn't want to see any club go out of business.

Leicester are 2nd...but the winners HAVE to be Liverpool :lolol:

Even saying liverpo:lolol: . See I can't do it.

The MESSIAH returns. He does shit.

Backing a player under racism-charges with comical T shirts.

They cant BUY a win at home.

They spend £100m on TRASH.

And THEN in EVERY interview, Dalglish acts like an oboxious prick.
"So Kenny, tell us how you went about the win"
"I don't think I need to tell you"
Dick.

Oh, and then theres the whole 'we cant play on Hillsborough' date debacle. Sad topic, yes. but PLEASE.

True, albeit with a large degree of fortune on the way. Nobody actually felt Liverpool were the best side in Europe as a result. Bit like if Chelsea win it this season. A large slice of luck, and a lot of momentum, and they might just do it.

West Ham, surely - if they blow it in the play-offs.

Has to be Palace (just ahead of Pompey). Their fans were in ecstasy in signing Glenn Murray for nothing from their bitterest rivals saying how good he would be - 6 league goals and top of the list for fouls. Playing in a stadium that wouldn't be passed as suitable in the Conference. Groupon . Living on past glories instead of realising this is the present. Too many Nigels making up the fanbase. Bigging up their academy players who will be sold for a whole lot less than what they think will be offered. Getting rid of their comical "sash" top and replacing it a "Barca" identikit. Losing on penalties to Cardiff in the Cup. Finishing 10 points and 7 places lower than their new masters (they have become the pupils).

Neither of those. It's their unbelievably deluded fans, and the huge amount of LFC plastics in Sussex. And Dalglish. And Saurez. And Carroll. And the treatment of Hodgson.

So, not strange at all. Lots to dislike.
