True story, I used to work with a bloke who would talk so much bollocks in meetings that something that should have been resolved in 15 minutes would take 3 or 4 hours. In the end, the only way - literally the only way I could endure those meetings was to indulge in sniffing the marker pens that would sit in the middle of the boardroom table. By the end of the meeting, the bollocks would still be going on but my freshly giant head would feel lighter than a cloud and I couldn’t have given less of a fùck if I’d have tried. I just felt warm and floaty.

In anticipation of Boris Johnson’s speech this evening I am cracking open a case of Gorilla Glue I’ve been saving for a special occasion. I’ve endured every one of the dickhead’s public addresses so far without any kind of substance abuse but enough is enough.
