The United Kingdom would be grateful if you would accept us as a member. We believe we meet all the criteria, especially the one requiring a completely useless government and utterly stupid leaders.

PS. We have stopped using the "Great" part of our name, sine we clearly aren't that any more.

Great is geographical not political and always has been.

Yes, I know what you meant. 🙂

So how does Boris Johnson become PM given he’s not an MP or a Lord, or has that part been glossed over?

Yes, we all know about NSC's loathing of Johnson, Farage, Brexit, the Tories, the government, their country, not my King Charles, etc. But third world? Get a grip.

Should probably drop the "United" from "United Kingdom" too (and the US should too)

Surely he'd still have the Partygate report to contend with. He avoided a vote because he resigned but if he came back I'm sure the report would be subject to a vote which would see him subject to a ban from Parliament of 90 days and therefore subject to recall vote. He would of course be parachuted in to a 'safe' seat but that would be no guarantee. The good news about this is that it only continues to highlight the divisions in the Tory party.

Have the frothing at the mouth wing of the Tory party forgotten the by election results, and for that matter, the local election results achieved under a Johnson’s watch.

Tiverton and Honiton Lib Dem gain.
Wakefield Labour gain
North Shropshire Lib Dem gain
Chesham and Amersham Liv Dem gain.

Local elections lost nearly 500 council seats

He’s not really that great an electoral asset is he.

Ant and Dec have facilitated the 'jungle- washing' of Farage. Thanks to them he is is now back in the political game. As Honorary President and founder of Reform UK he will - once again - influence a major national vote without even being accountable to the electorate.
As if they select the celebrities....

What's wrong with being a third-world country anyway? Rwanda is GREAT, right?

BTW, just in case you were thinking that NSC isn't representative of the broader picture...

I don't think it's a particular NSC 'thing'.

I would have thought, given what has become blindingly obvious about all of them over the last few years, that your continued position as a Farage/Brexit/Johnson cheerleader is proving pretty difficult to justify in most situations these days

They've already put Cameron in. There is no constitutional barrier to make Lord Boris of Burnley and he could be in.

This lot could try anything
