Really sad to hear this. Seems a cracking bloke, with a young family. His APITS episodes are always fun as he gently takes the piss out of the prospective purchasers. Having just lost a family member to cancer I can understand fully what his family are going through.

Wow, very sad. I think I must have watched every episode of ever series of APITS during the Covid lockdown as I longed to travel once more. Seems a great guy, and as a father of two young kids myself it must be heartbreaking and terrifying in equal measure to have to think of leaving them behind.

Stay strong, Jonnie.

Really sad news, he's great on Escape to the Country (not seen a place in the sun) and thought he looked ill for a while but hoped he had just aged or lost weight.

He so young too with a young family which makes it even more tragic.

Such sad news. I often watch Escape to the Country with my gf, mainly older episodes from 5/6 years ago. We happened to catch a recent episode a couple of months back and couldn't believe how much older he looked. I'd assumed he'd had an illness and was on the road to recovery, not the terrible news he broke today.

That's such sad news. Always seemed a decent guy and the photos of his sweet family in the press today are heartbreaking, given the circumstances.

Cancer really f*cking sucks
