Johnny Depp - class act

November 29th last year, unbeknown to the public, Johnny Depp spent four hours at Londons Great Ormond Street hospital reading stories to children there, dressed in his orignial Captain Jack Sparrow costume from Pirates of the Caribbean. He returned there yesterday and donated a million pounds of his own money to the hospital in thanks to the staff for saving his eight year old daughters life when her kidneys failed.

THAT, my friends, is a CLASS ACT.

I heard that on perezhilton - what a great guy! He also funded a party for the staff in the hospital over christmas!!

Top bloke and a top top actor. Never mind the Pirates nonsense, the guy is consistently brilliant in all he does.

Watch 'What's eating Gilbert Grape' - great performances all round.

Fit missus too.

Vanessa Paradis

what is she doing nowadays?

He was good in that, but no-where near DiCaprio in that film!!!

Blow is worth watching

Which is why I said 'Great performances ALL ROUND', wasn't it?

Disagree with 'nowhere near' though. Depp's part was far harder to play well. DiCaprio was excellent in it, but in many respects playing a part such as his is easier, than a more conventional role.

Depp's part called for subtlety. DiCaprio's for something quite different, which undoubtably he did really well, but he couldn't really get it 'wrong' as such.

Playing a character with some form of handicap / mental issues / illness should be highly recommended to all aspiring actors - your performance is inevitably well received, and look how many Oscars are showered on actors playing such roles [see Forrest Gump, Philadelhia, Rain Man, etc, etc, etc, etc...]

That's right. I'm currently researching a role actually, hence my interaction with you. The film is called "The biggest Internet Spaz In Christendom". After being on here for almost a year it was reccomended that I get into childish rows with you and Bars as you are generally regarded as the geekiest, most friendless, sexless pair of fucktards to grace the internet and you would be prime research material.

All is going to plan and I am geting a lot of useful tips on how to act like a knobshop from both of you, so all being well I should be a shoe-in come Oscars time. Thanks for all your help, Also if your carers are free, and you are able to attend (can't imagine you would be doing anything else) you are both invited to the Oscar ceremony. I'd like to give a little back.

I believe there is a children's area at the venue so while the adults are enjoying themselves you wil both be well catered for.

See you there.

No, couldn't resist reading your pathetic ramblings. Noitice you didn't reply to the actual post. I suppose being owned is hard to reply to.

apologies for my rudeness in not responding - should you ever get nominated for an oscar, I would be delighted to accompany you.

Will do, Nathan often asks after you too. So, back in the real world, where you're not researching any roles, or nominated for any awards, hows tricks?

that good, eh, never mind, I'm sure things will pick up. You take care now.

You can't have it both ways mate. Don't come on here giving it the big 'un and then when someone gives you shit back start acting all nice. Grow up or f*** off.

I think you over estimate my sincerity at both ends of the spectrum. "Acting" all nice? Maybe you can learn from me after all.
