His version of Hurt is an incredible song. In my mind one, if not the, best cover versions ever.

What he said....

And the original's pretty damn good too.

I must admit I'm not a huge fan of NIN......it's just not my cup of tea. But, you cannot deny Mr Reznor wrote a great song.

Sort of slightly off topic, but in a way on topic (i think)

Glenn Campbell's new covers CD is well worth checking out. His versions of the Foos 'Time like these', Lennons 'Grow old with me' and Green Days 'Time of your life' are amazing!! The others are gems too.

I have heard the Campbell Foo Fighters cover. It took me bloody ages to work out who did the original.....and I know the original quite well.

I'm not particularly a big fan - but you're spot on with that statement my friend.

To watch him sing 'hurt' in his final days is truly awesome. As someone once said 'from is temporary,CLASS IS PERMANANT.

I have 104 johnny cash songs on my itunes, there are maybe five duplicates, and only one of the songs is ring of fire.

That entirely surprised me.North Stand Chat
