If John Terry is found guilty, all he'll get is a £2,500 fine.

Where as Suarez got an 8 game ban and a £40,000 fine?

What's the difference?!

I really do hate that sneaky prick Terry.

They're punishments by different people. Suarez's was handed down by the FA whereas Terry is being dealt with by the courts.

If you believe that Terry wasn't goaded he might get a punishment towards the top end of the scale but that is frankly unlikely. If found guilty the football authorities will then act

fupp me really

One is being tried in the court first his maximum sentence is a 2,500 fine

Suarez was charged and punished by the FA no criminal case launched his punishment dealt with by them, The FA will punish Terry also im sure if found guilty.

That said i think Anton is in for a Ban also

Pretty sure if he is found guilty (and it would take a miracle if he isn't) then the FA would have to hand out some sort of punishment.

We live in hope anyway........

I seem to remember the FA saying they wouldn't act until after the legal face for fear of prejudicing it, that either way this trial turns out there will be a FA investigation. Of course, they could have changed their mind since then.

Correct. If found guilty expect a lengthy ban and fine. IF.

If he doesn't get at least the same ban and fine that Suarez did, something dodgy is going on at the FA.

Racism in itself isn't illegal. Not much the courts can do due to freedom of speech/human rights rules. Just look at some of the stuff the EDL & BNP get away with

Racist behavious is an aggravating factor. You're quite right that you actually have to commit an 'offence' first. Terry committed a section 5 offence of the public order act (allegedly) and has been charged with the racially aggravated equivalent of that offence. You could argue some of the edl stuff (not some much BNP) could well constitute an offence under Sec 5 mind, just not often do the police go down that road.
