Phil dying at 36 hurt me badly I adored Thin Lizzy, still do. He was a poet

One of rock's greatest tragedies. He had it all. Charisma, great player and superb song writer. The story of his decline is just so sad with so many people trying to help him. Always amazed that Scott Gorham survived as by his own admission he was as bad Phil.

Live and Dangerous remains my favourite album of all time.
