John Piercey - top man for that effort

I thought every Albion player performed well APART from Piercy, who was anonymous and off the pace.

I can see why Coppell has not given him much game time to date.

Considering how unfit he looked on Saturday, a big hand to JP for putting in that performance in place of OGH on Saturday

I've been wanting to see him play, but was disappointed.

Why should he be so unfit? I know he had stomach trouble early in the season, but he should be fit - not necessarily match sharp.

I wouldn't write him off yet, but he needs to do more, especially if he wants to be playing for us next year in Div 1.

He didn't sound too happy with his performance when interviewed on SCR. Was happy to be in the team but was uncomfortable being out of position.

He looked a bit off the pace, but with all the injuries and lack off first team football he's had, it's understandable that he looked a little rusty.

Well Done JP

I thought Marney did alright when he came in place of piercy.....certianly looke dmore dangerous than piercy.

Sad thing is that was Piercys big chance.

Considering he was the Tottenham youth captin I thought he was rather shit.Sod effort.I don't remember him putting any in.You don't stay in a team doing a light jog up and down the field and not making any challenges all game do you (ala David Lee) .Waste of space in my eyes.:smokin:

Right footed and he wants to play on the left. Is that because he cannot cross the ball with either foot?

Wants to cut inside and shoot.

sorry young man.

What game were you at?

I thought the only dissapointing things on saturday was Piercy ( who given his chance played well for three minutes following the KO and then dissapeared) and our Welsh Wizzard Jones who I thought was awful

I thought Piercy was not worthy of his place on Saturday, very slow, and looked un-interested.
Marney wasnt much better, hurry up and get fit OGH.

Piercey looked the same on Saturday as he did a year ago when I saw him play at Rotherham.

Not good enough.

Marney played much better IMO

My point is.................

He did a job whilst looking well unfit and gave us an hour.

At the end he looked cream crackered when being subbed. I for one (and it seems I'm the only one) thought it was a TOP effort (thos not a top performance).

I doubt whether he would be happy with performance but it spoke volumes for the team spirit that he came in when obviusly not prepared and gave his all for the team.
