It really puts everything into perspective.Football is only a game and to see him summarising on TV again brought tears to my eyes after what he's been through in the last 8 months.

Can't believe how much weight he's lost but cancer does that to the body after undergoing chemotherapy.An inspiration to everyone fighting it.

I know he's a massive Swansea fan like Natterjack.

BATTLING John Hartson made an emotional return to Upton Park last night.

The former West Ham striker was making his first TV appearance since being diagnosed with cancer.

He sat in the ITV studio as the Hammers lost 2-1 to another of his former clubs, Arsenal, in the FA Cup.

Hartson, 34, revealed last month he is winning a battle with testicular cancer, which had spread to his brain and lung.

The Welshman also thanked the thousands of fans who sent messages of goodwill as he underwent surgery and chemotherapy.
