Well I can't say I care one way or another which end he bowls from, but his constant presence on TV is definitely starting to grate with me.

that was the point I was making

If that doesn't help, please check out his toothpaste-advert fixed grin on Torchwood, I'd Do Anything, any other musical "talent" show, Buzzcocks, Loose Women, Richard & Judy, his recently published autobiography, his newly released CD, or feel free to purchase tickets for his ongoing tour...

Apart from that, you hardly ever see him.

I think NMH is supressing his latent Homosexuality myself.

I witnessed an interview with this bloke a few weeks ago - and it was classic.
The interviewer hardly asked him anything, and he was off on an excitable enthusiastic diatribe about himself, replete with giggles at his own stories, and effusive self-ingratiating.

Prize freaking faggoty mincing fairy princess.
Fact.

I like him. He remind me on the old school variety entertainers I used to watch as a kid i.e. good and entertaining in a number of areas. He was great on Buzzcocks with Simon Amstall.

The good thing about him being on tv though, is if you dont like him you can turn it off.

Was a bit difficult to do that when in a cheap hotel last weekend with 8 channels and he was on two of them at once! I'd Do Anything and Torchwood (was being repeated on one of the Irish channels).

I like him. Great as Captain jack in Dr Who and Torchwood. Think he is over egging it by doing too many shows though, but ultimately you have to take the limelight when it comes around don't you. Caught the kids v adults quiz thing last night and cringed, and not keen when he says Fantastic fantastic fantastic either! but as I say top bloke as Captain Jack.

Nice. I don't much like him either, but I don't feel the need to launch into a load of old homophobic drivel. You wanna take a look at yourself in my opinion, cos you do have some real issues dontcha? :bigwave:

Just to let all you John Barrowman haters know, the BBC are currently filming a prime time documentary about the great mans life.

So in an interview he told funny stories about himself?
The scumbug, let's get him. When i watch a celebrity being intervies i want monosyllabic one word answers, or at least saying 'erm' and 'you know' a lot

You must be like me ...

The ONLY telly I watch now is on BBC iPlayer. He's not on that - or at least not that I've noticed.

Plenty of the Barrowman on the I Player in the excellent Torchwood series. Captain Jack is a great character and the show was great fun.

He must have a brilliant agent as he has not only stared in countless West End shows and musicals, he is constantly on prime time TV and tours will what seems to be a succesfull album.

He does work for the national dogs trust and has rehomed a load of spaniels, it great in this day and age that men like him are more known for their talent than there sexuality.

Besides I am a fan because he shares the same Birthday as me.

Exactly, the guy's workrate is phenomenal, why not admire that rather than slag him off, and as mentioned above, you can always change channels (unless you're staying in Hotel Scumbag as MYOB did). If people took a leaf out of Barrowman's book and wasted less work time on here and more working on getting roles in BBC productions they could be knocking Barrowman off of our screens rather than sitting on their sofas with a large diet coke and pizza whingeing about the state of affairs.

Uncle Spielberg, why compare him to another gay celebrity like Stephen Fry to make your point?!?!? Its like comparing the merits of George Clooney with Dean Gaffney just because they're both straight.

I have rarely seen him in the shows he does but heard him being interviewed by Jonathan Ross and I thought he cam across really well. He just seemed to be himself and obviously works hard and enjoys what he does.

Much prefer to listen to him than some affected, maudlin actor or musician. He does what he does and good on him I say. Huraah!
