Yes and he toured with Joy Division and New Order so he is officially cool. Arctic monkeys also appreciate his work, reminds must try and book tickets at the Theatre Royal. My mid twenties son is a recent convert.

Really like John Cooper Clarke but have not found anything close to him over the years until i got introduced to these guys,and strangely enough they are playing @ the Prince Albert 26th April, they are a bit more aggressive but honest.

Saw him in '78 and he did the "can't hear a word you're saying mate, you're mouth's full of shit" put down line. I've got "walking back to happiness" on clear vinyl and it's epic. Listen to "Gaberdine Angus" for true poetic genius.
