What irritated me the most was when on quite a few occasions there was no foul either way and play should have gone on but he blew up and gave it to them.

In fairness I've no complaints about the penalty. I can't believe some of our fans and even Lamptey himself are banging on about touching the ball. It's irrelevant if your follow through manages to clip their player

My take is that we didn’t need to be playing the ref as well as Arsenal in the first half. Gave them every decision he could from my biased viewpoint. Reminded me of the ref who did the same for Liverpool at the Amex in our early PL days. Maybe refs are advised to play advantage to teams in with a shout of the title if there is a smidgen of doubt on decisions when they play also rans.
