I got chatting with a couple of people earlier on. One said, oddly, that violence is good, then retracted his comment.

The other said we should cut barton some slack as he clearly has issues.

I accept the latter, to a degree. But what about the times when he just does it randomly? The cigar stubbing, or the night out assault.

He has no place in football till he has seen a shrink.
