What no mention of the cheating tw*t that tried to get his side a penalty. Will be interesting to see peoples response if Murray takes a dive in a few weeks and Greer points out the error of his ways!

As a rule I'd agree that Joey Barton does himself no favours. I'm no fan of his that's for sure. However, in the interests of balance, I remember a filthy Wolves team kicking him up in the air all game last season just to get a reaction. To his credit he took everyone of those 'challenges' like a man and never reacted.

Thought Barton was supposed to be a hard man, a five year old girl could've slapped harder than that and he went down like he'd been shot with an elephant gun!

This is a really horrible thing to say. You may dislike him, but no need to wish injury upon him.

Agreed, but he was slapped round the chops and almost any player would have gone down to get the ref's attention.

Doesn't make it right but it happens in almost every game.

Well done nice to see a sensible response. There was only one thug yesterday and that was Alex song for his disgusting stamp on barton. A blatant attempt to get a reaction and in the past the reaction would have been him losing it and getting sent off. His reaction this time ? To get one of there's sent off, fair play I say arsenal set out to get him sent off and he managed to do it to them. And wenger was as big a tool in his interview after

For god’s sake, every player does it, this will be seen week in and week out!! And our own players do exactly the same, I agree it is wrong, Drogba taught the world how to act on a football pitch!

He was totally out of order to hoist the Arsenal player up after what looked like a half decent shout for a pen. But to criticise someone for playacting, then go down after being touched on the cheek like you've been shot is a tad hypocritical isn't it.

Oh.. and he's a massive bell end.

I kind of thought he was going for a hitleresque haircut, maybe to add to his legend. Hes been flirting with it for a while.

(this is tongue in cheek for the over reactionary NSC members)

Edit: I couldn't find a good one of his haircut yesterday. This is him being completely innocent.

This. Saves me typing the same opinion!
If it was our player we'd be applauding him - though with his rep it was a bit silly to make it his business to pick the diver up off the grass.
The Arsenal player deserved to walk, and Wenger was his usual myopic twatty self

I love how people slag him of, he was stamped on and slapped in that game, Arsenal should have 9 men, for the two incidents on Barton i dont like him think his a scum bag, buy just as he went down easy dont mean his more scum than he already was, what do people want him to do stand there and trade blows.
