Zaha will probably leave let's face it. £10million? f***ing hell you're having a laugh aren't you ? Even if he was sold for that amount, it wouldn't all go into your transfer budget, deary f***ing me Nigel.

I don't think Zaha will leave. He isn't ready for the top four Premiership clubs yet, and that's the only place he'll be going when he leaves us. Considering the BBC reports us turning down £7m, I don't see us accepting anything less than £10m, do you?

They know this. Their only solution is to say that we must be selling all our players to "balance our debts".

What they conveniently forget to remember is that thanks to administration, we are completely DEBT FREE :)

And there is the reason why Brighton are morally superior to Palace in every way - gloating about an administration. Shameless.

I'm surprised you don't incorporate two stars above your Club crest to commemorate your administrations.

What goes around comes around .

Until the next time. You would have prove Isaac Newton's laws wrong to 'balance' your debts. I look forward to paying 10p in the £ for my luke warm pie next time I visit shithurst, unless the Chancellor changes the VAT on warm pies!

£10m? I do hope that's a joke :lolol:

He's nowhere near as good as Alex Oxlade Chamberlain for starters.

What has he possibly done to earn a £10million price tag? Scored about 6 goals, make a few assists and dive.

His potential on the other hand could be worth around £5million but you lot are getting too far ahead of yourselves.

It's amazing how Brighton fans are all such experts on the Palace team, a year ago you had barely even seen any of our players play (except FFS Murray)!

I wish I shared your wisdom.

So how did AOC manage a move to Arsenal for 12 million despite never kicking a football outside of League One, for one of the promoted sides I might add?

It's not unrealistic for us to demand a high price, I can't see how any Brighton fan can justify writing a player off who is only 19yrs old and has played in a struggling side (yep, I said it).

I suspect most of you are bitter as a result of his goal at The Amex and more importantly, the penalty he won at Selhurst.

If he goes it will be somewhere around that price. Not necessarily because he is worth £10million but because we don't need to sell. Therefore we can say no until a desperate club want to take a risk and throw a figure somewhere in the region of £10million at us. It's the opposite to Pompey who are losing all their players cheaply because they can't say no.

As much as I hate to say it I reckon Palace will do ok next year.
Ward is a good signing and they do have some good young players.
Having said that I think whilst some Palace fans reckon they will get top 6 I think that will be a step too far for them this season - there are a lot of good teams with bigger budgets.
I see Palace next year as a similar standard to Brighton this year. Potential and could flirt with the top end of the table but not enough promotion.
Cannot see them being relegated though - they are no-where near as bad as Barnsley and Peterborough for example.

Any money you may or may not get for these players will go in to stopping your stupid tin pot crumbling stadium from completely falling down. You really should be worried about that.

There is no chance of Wilf leaving this summer for anything less than £7m. Jay Rodriguez went for that price today, and Wilf is twice the player he is.

Yeah I am sure jay scored more goals and is the better player, he didnt spend half the season on the floor looking for free kicks and pens we will go to Wigan for 4m

Why on earth would be bitter about that eh? Are you implying that he did actually dive?

He's quick but has no balance, he'll sprint as fast as he can until he either falls over or feels the need to stick his leg around a player and fall over.

Zaha will only go to a top four club but he's not good enough for a top four club so he won't go anywhere. Palace fan logic. :moo:

Another Palace thread gone off topic.

Ward a good signing but he will be our most expensive signing this summer. No doubt Brighton will spend £3million+ on more then one player.

That's interesting.

Because AOC moved from Southampton, a club with a genuine (as opposed to imaginary) record of producing international class players from their academy?
