I wouldn't be overly excited if we signed him permanently but he is a pretty good player. A tad inconsistent but does hurt teams with his pace...

We are assuming that he wants to sign for us.

Personally I would not be surprised if he went to another club in this division if we don't buy him. As others have said, he is strong and fast and makes defenders lives difficult.

He needs to work on his control when his backs to goal and his shooting, but it is not as though players are lining up to sign for us is it?

I spoke to him the other day. He really likes it here.

Too early to call, shown flashes of genius but at other times poor.

Worth at least a season laon.

Think he is worth keeping if he is not used upfront. Too often his shots go flying miles over into the family/away stands at Withdean.

Gets into good positions but cannot head for love nor money.

Sometimes he looks like a clumsy Bas Savage, sometimes has a really bad first touch. But he seems pretty handy running down the right wing at defenders with pace. If he was always good at crossing he would be playing at a higher level. He is not, but a handy winger for us, not a striker.

Definitely our worst player last night to be honest (the match sponsor got the MOM spot on I reckon) but that was by far the worst I've seen him play for us so far.

I agree with others that the thing he needs to improve on most is his first touch. He still has plenty to work on but his pace and power and ability to change the game, especially if brought on as a second half sub, means he's well worth a long loan spell or signed permanent if the price is right.

I think he's a top players for us. On a good day he looks Premiership, on a bad day he still works hard.

As I've said before if he could produce those good days week in, week out, he wouldn't be anywhere near league One would he!

He's quick and strong, which are GOOD things.

He has the worst TOUCH of any Albion forward player since Chris McPhee.

He's an impact player. You'll get a few bits and bobs out of him but you won't get many great 90 minute performances. Not unlike Robinson really, cept Robinson has better touch.

Starting him over Cox was a ridiculous decision.

Stop watching the rugby and go and find out for yourself why don't ya ? :p

But if it makes you happy - and it seems it does - he was anonymous today and was replaced by Fleetwood.

How did England do in the rugby ? :lolol:

You got me there. I was being very naive in assuming that as you was asking for an opinion, you wasn't at the game.

I should have known better really, having heard countless callers to the fans phone in on my way home in the car from games start their call with " I couldn't make it to the game today, but......", then go on to tear individual players and the team apart. :thud:

I believe England came a very good 2nd ?, although I wasn't at the game of course :D

P.S. My opinion of Joe remains the same.

He really gave 100% today, he was often the last line of defence, and a minute later he was supporting the strikers, he came off because he had picked up a knock. I sometimes wonder if certain posters on here watch the game at all.

I think that he offers more than Robinson and is also better defensive support to Whing than Cox and god knows Whing needs that extra assistance.

I'm not anti-Anyinsah, far from it ( see my first post on this thread ).

I can remember one good piece of covering in defence today and a very brief spell of troubling them down our right in the first half. I'm sorry, but for the rest of the game, I believe he was pretty much anonymous today.

He certainly works hard but then I think so does Cox. I think he only really troubles defences if the game is very open, so he can have balls to run on to, can run at defenders just with pace and strength and just barrel past them rather than having to beat them with skill. I'd definitely have rather seen Cox start today, I'm not sure what he did other than set up the goal at Carlisle to get dropped.
