Yeah he seems to be doing really well for himself at the moment. WOuld love to see him maybe go out and get some work experience at either conference or above level. I made the prediction at the start of the season that before May '06 we'll see him score in the first team. Still think it'll happen!

How would i know?I'm pissed.
I think we should play Gatting up front against Reading..........nothing to lose.....let's be honest, he knows where the onion sack is, and if it doesn't work out then so be it........it's not as though we're going to get anything out of that game anyway.....

He's going to have to choose between Cricket and Football at some stage.

He is a very, very exciting prospect for both BHAFC and Sussex CCC.

Wonder which way he'll go?

I'll be there at Watford and Reading giving the lads all the support i can, but i must admit, despite our impressive away form, i can't see us getting much from these 2 games.............but i would love to be wrong on this......

He has already chosen football Paul. Was offered a contract with Sussex but turned it down to play for the Albion. He has been told that he can join Sussex if it does not work out with the Albion. Not a bad fall back plan.

He certainly can. Scored tons of runs for Brighton College, Preston Nomads and various Sussex academy sides. Looks like a pretty sharp bowler as well.

Could he be SCCC's Freddie of the future? Or will he be the new Bobby Z?

And was a bloody good player (if a touch one-footed!! :lolol: ).

He's still the same. He was football coach at my school, so used to play with/against him in training every now and again.

There was a very interesting article a while ago about whether it is possible to combine the two. In the past yes, but both sports have grown considerably.

I would love to see him play for either, but probably prefer him to play for the Albion. I expect he would pick the albion and play league cricket in the summer, if his contract were to allow him. Of course I am specualting as I don't know him. Glad to see we have some more forwards coming through. We seem to produce a lot of defenders at the moment.
