The last to play for Sussex and BHA was probably Don Bates and Steve Burtenshaw who I think were both after Denis Foreman but not quite sure, think they we in the 60s.

Foreman definitely later than Bates, but not sure about Burtenshaw (I don't remember him in the cricket team). Definitely not Suttle - he played for the Albion in the early fifties.

The prolem with Gatting is that he is the type of player that would score most of his goals in and around the 6-yard box and whenever he played we didnt have anyone in the team to put the ball there!!

He DOES know where the goal is and the average of a goal per game for the Youth and Reserves a few seasons back proves that!

Nash made 120 including 7 fours and 5 sixes
Gatting was 8 not out and hit his first boundary
