Was thinking the same thing. That last sentence is particularly pleasing - given the talk around RDZ wanting more say in recruitment, I'm glad we seem to be backing him with his targets.

Albion 5pm special?Has to be true or he’s gonna lose all credibility. I don’t mind him breaking facts but it’s his guessing / taking what agents say as fact like Cucu deal that irks me. He’s not reporting this to get interest from elsewhere like some suggested.
Although ‘deal done yesterday’ and ‘contract BEING signed’ are completely the opposite - always leaves some wiggle room doesn’t he!
Probably too early for an on the pitch unveiling but maybe a raincoat, umbrella carrying wave from the directors box tomorrow?!
Yes. Happened loads of time. Transfer just goes through in JulyWhilst the deal can be done and everything agreed, can a player actually be signed in this manner outside the transfer window? I would have thought that he will be contracted to play for Watford until the end of the season
I'm not sure where the idea of him wanting more say in recruitment came from, unless I missed something ?That last sentence is particularly pleasing - given the talk around RDZ wanting more say in recruitment, I'm glad we seem to be backing him with his targets.
Yes seems odd. I guess they sign something from x of June now. But I want to be sure there’s no chance of a hijacking if this happens now…!Whilst the deal can be done and everything agreed, can a player actually be signed in this manner outside the transfer window? I would have thought that he will be contracted to play for Watford until the end of the season
Exactly what I was thinkingThe fact Naylor is ignoring this, it’s happening

Just like NSC, from the sublime to the gorblimey:
I don't like him because he actively unsettled cucurella for Man City.Folk don't like him because he's right most of the time.
As regards this lad, he's a very Albion signing. And very highly rated.
Stuck here it's like having a personalised number plate on a 1993 Ford Escort.Just like NSC, from the sublime to the gorblimey:
"Another one who's mostly been completely underwhelming. Not to Sarr's level, but still underwhelming. Has actually also gone beyond just underwhelming into being mostly complete and utter crap for a good while. A year ago I thought I might be sad to see him go, but...bye"
and
"Gutted really.. the only glimmer of hope we had this season. He may have had off day’s, but Jesus Christ, at least he showed a bit of passion and footballing ability. Unlike the rest of em"
Cucurella was always going to go. Fabrizio was being fed by Cucu's agent, rather than the other way round. Cucu handed in a transfer request, Man City didn't want to pay our asking price, but Chelsea did. I cannot find a tweet where he said Cucurella had signed for Man City.I don't like him because he actively unsettled cucurella for Man City.
As for being right most of the time, he said on 3 or 4 occasions that Cucurella had signed for Man City and they were just waiting to announce it.
Largely I find he announces things that are either absolute horse sh*t or have already been officially announced by another source a few hours earlier.
Talking of Roberto De Zerbi, Romano was right about him talking to Brighton, two days before being announced.
