Jo Brand is a great advocate for the mentally ill. Whether you like her stand-up or not, you have to say that she's done a great deal of good in her life so far.

She's right up there with the least funny "comedians" ... along with that Lenny Henry fellow. Aren't they / weren't they married? Deserve(d) each other.

Yep always been a Palace fan which in a way I like as it represents them very well. We have the super sophisticated Des Lynam and the super cool Norman Cook. They have Jo Brand. Says it all really.

I'll match your Lynham and Cook with Liam Neeson and Maxi Jazz aka Faithless.

We have a lot of celebrity fans, most of whom are a bit strange but then you have to be to support Palace.

Quite. She, presumably, gives her fellow Palace fans the time of day. Gone are the days when it was 'not done' to speak to the mentally ill.

The fat Palace trout came originally from Tunbridge Wells, then it moved to Hastings.

Sussex' s loss was obviously Palace's gain.

Yep, she originally came from T Wells, and as a T Wellian of many years I am disappointed in this, though technically (well historically) north of the lower walk Pantiles is Kent, not Sussex, she went to TW Grammar School For Girls - none of whom were renowned for their common sense, though I've loved a few of them! But, how much better do we feel that the Palace scum have the likes of her, shit we'd have never got Falmer with her leading our marches!

I think she's funny, not the best, but a good antidote to some of boorish blokes on the circuit. Interesting how many people attack her looks.
