Twitter posts now saying it'll be a loan deal ???

If so, it surely means JFC must be signing a contract extension ? Otherwise he's out of contract and available "on a free" when the loan expires.

We really need to unload JFC on a Perm - happy with 500k, has failed to kick on from early promise

He might have refused a new contract.

This way he has all options open to him

But why are BHAFC letting him out on loan, and not holding out for a sale ? There is still 7 weeks to go until transfer deadline day. No need to rush a loan through just yet.

10 years development, England U21 capped, we are losing £10m+ a year and you want to offload him for £500k

Rotherham have a wage structure in place and won't pay over £10k a week, maybe that's why it may be an initial loan deal.

Can't for one moment think he'd be anywhere near£10k

I would bite Rotherham's hand for £500k for a midfielder that only passes sideways!
Can't win them all. JFC is never going to be part of a side looking at reaching the Premier.
Time to move on for all parties

I don't know any one who would disagree with this. The team seems to have moved on faster than him during his time with us, and I just can't see him starting anymore games for us, even in an injury crisis.

Not a bad palyer by any means, and with all due respect to Rotherham at the moment, maybe that's his level.

Rotherham are closing on paying a club record fee of around £1m for Millwall's Lee Gregory.
If they do it will empty their transfer budget so might make sense for them to negotiate a loan.
Given the way player values are rising we might well extend his deal with a view to cashing in later. Another option is to agree a loan deal with a commitment to buy at a fixed price at the end.
