Amazing bit of skill by the pilot to land it on the river so smoothly. Deserves a medal. Approximately 140 lives depended on him.

Just goes to show that there is a glitzy side to being a pilot with the trips to some of the best places in the world, but there is an AWFOL lot of skill involved in the job.

Nice to see BBC America not keep mentioning the word miracle and giving the credit to the pilot, ferry operators and rescue agencies which is as it should be. Unlike all the US networks who milked the religious aspect for all it was worth.
