He's better than Zaha I'd say, and has developed into a real goal threat. Another one of these 'flexible' players that have been talked about a lot lately, and this could see him make it as a back-up for us. Can cover the 10,7 and 11 roles. I suspect he'll be able to do the 8 too in future.

It's ridiculous really how much this news has changed my mood. My Albion mojo has been somewhat meh for a while, but we sign a 21 year old that I've never heard off and suddenly I'm full of the joys of spring! As I say - ridiculous!

Reading earlier comments on that Redcafe thread, there were a lot of calls for him to be put in the first team. He seems to be very highly rated.

If it goes well, hopefully we'll be seeing a few more Utd youngsters in the future.

I worked with a load of Man U soccer school coaches over the summer and part of that involved going to see the first team play their two friendlies here. Hilariously for me they lost 1 and drew the other but Zaha played both and was the player they were all the most impressed with.
