it seems strange that the lad did not go on tour unless the club had already decided that they want him. The fact that nothing has come from the club might reflect on the Vicente debacle.

On Seagull Player, as part of the reaction to the Pompey game, Gus mentioned this, and it's clear he's referring to one of the striker or central midfield players, not Balmy. I'd imagine Gus was only referring to the ones for immediate 1st team use; whereas Balmy would be Dev / sub material.

I think his agent has got him a trial with the Albion to re-ignite interest from Spurs , Arsenal , AC Milan , Valencia and others. We're still in with a shout depending if offers come in from other clubs or not.

When your trialling with various championship and low-level premiership clubs over a summer, it kind of says it all that the elite clubs aren't that interested in him at the moment. Maybe if he signs the bloody paper and proves himself in a more competitive nature then the interest will come back to him!

Just sign the damn papers!
