What is this "soccer" thing?

As a kid I used to watch a Football program on TV on the BBC, there was one on ITV as well . . . I think the BBC one is still going, but is very specialised these days.

I've no idea what this is all about, something American maybe. So Shyte.

Funnily enough today was the first time I had soccer Saturday on this season I think. Was a bit of a car crash - Tim Sherwood can’t shut up and even classed himself as a head coach ‘like Ole’ - Morrison can barely speak English and seemed to just be repeating what Sherwood said. Darren Bent was ok and Merson his usual self.

Whole thing needs a bit of an overhaul or at least better pundits

He’s brilliant, I hope his replacement also supports a lower league club. Gives perspective on the real football world, not the oligarchs bubble.

Not a dickhead with biased snide comments in favour of their ESL club.

And therein lies the rub. Whatever you think of Stelling, his replacement will be
100 times worse.

If you get past Clinton's accent and ego, he's an excellent and thoughtful pundit, quite gentle and good humoured, and an authentic 'voice' of wherever it is he's from

If you want tedious, 'old school' judgement-free morons, I give you Jermain 'JJ' 'it's a man's game' Jenas and, to be very honest, Steve Macmanamanaman. A pair of plums not for the picking

The bloke can't speak. His vocabulary is awful and you can physically hear the cogs crunching in his head when he's trying to say "yeah... but" and "you no wot I meen".

Can't stand the twunt. IMO of course.

He's been stale for a while, a wise decision before was pushed for a younger more diverse and exciting person took his place. Think they will go with the safe pair of hands Julian Warren at first and then Lianne Sanderson to take over long term.

We're up to the quota with male, pale and stale. The next mod is going to be a 19 year old lesbian black dwarf who identifies as a Luton fan.

What's wrong with switching to the easy-on-the-eye Brighton fan on the other side?

The trouble with that is you have to put up with Chris Sutton and Peter Walton. Jules Breach is great though I must admit

Having to work with that moron Clinton Morrison would make anyone throw in the towel.

I quite like Clinton Morrison on it. At least he makes an effort to look smart. The rest on there look like they have shopped at an Oxfam shop.

I watched the game on a stream then switched to SSN, Clinton was glowing in his praise for us.

What's wrong with shopping in Oxfam to buy clothes?

Yes, was thinking the same! Given the disposable fashion nature of clothes these days, it’s quite responsible to buy quality 2nd hand ones and give them a new life!

I’m afraid you’re right. Absolutely no way JS would get the gig these days. He is a national treasure, genuinely sad to hear he’s leaving. Wonder who will replace him, good luck to her regardless.

Absolutely nothing. I have done it myself when I was young but you don't expect it from footballers who have earned millions in there careers and who are being paid around £5k or more for appearing that day .
