To quote Ade Edmonson, from Mr Jolly Lives Next Door:

"Do I have to fvcking SPELL IT OUT!?"

Questions spells plane as 'plain'
The above are definitions of 'plain'
You quoted him, asking if he still needs a 'plane' to fly, referring to his intoxicated state rather than his misspelling, but you could also have been referring to him 'still needing' a plane to fly, as opposed to a plain, something he couldn't fly in.

Or similar.
Indeed he couldn't fly in a plain however, surely if a plain could fly, one would fly on it rather than it, in the manner of a flying carpet?

I would expect Sidwell to look after him.

Was always going to play. Just a bit of daft mind games from Bruce.

Odd that old red face tried various mind games (that Hughton would have taken no notice of). Pretty sure they'd have leaked the Calderwood thing the night before too. I like Bruce but this has made him look a bit twatish!

He seemed to be getting it in the neck from those around the home dugout in W1C. He took it in good part though. I like him

He is an excellent manager....Villa are a completely different side to the one that Di Matteo had. In a way a point was a very good result tonight (apart from the fact that we barely deserved it).....in that it translates into 2 points lost by Villa, who are in catch-up mode. Fully expect them to be in the top 6, and could easily win the play-offs. Let's just hope we go up automatically - but still a LONG way to go.

Thought Jedi had a decent game, looked composed throughout.
He played in his best position, just in front of the centre backs, broke up the play, and distributed the ball well.
Not bad for a cart horse.

Instead of Villa gaining 6 points on us (them winning 3 and us losing 3) a point could be key at the end of the season. Just look at the Middlesbrough home game last season... We did not play well last night but the defence held strong, you could tell Hughton thought a point wouldn't be the end of the world as he brought on Norwood for Knockaert to try and stem the tide in central midfield.
