Hang on, not been to Brighton for a few years, but what's happened to Komedia? Didn't Steven Grant use to compere there?
Lost the gig there a few years ago so now runs the Forge as well as running nights at the open air theatre and in Hassocks, Lindfield and other places across mid Sussex.

Komedia is still going strong so we have two great comedy clubs in the city pluse a few other venues that host regular comedy

Seen Henning Wehn at the Betsey Trotwood 4 or 5 times* trying out new material. He's tried out a few jokes that would 'get me put in jail if I told them in the Fatherland'. I remember one of his tours had the provisional title of 'my struggle'.

(* I should add him to my list of famous people I've shaken hands with and exchanged a few words.)

He usually does a week at the Leicester Square Theatre every November and always go and see him, thinks he's superb, very intelligent comedian. I think he's actually lived in Kent for the past 20-30 years now.

Saw Milton Jones last night for the first time. Be meaning to see him for ages, but was always working whenever he did a gig in London. Genuinely a superb hour show, always wondered how he was going to knot all those one-liners together and it's expertly crafted, even down to the background music. So many nods to Tommy Cooper, Les Dawson and Tony Hancock in his style. Loved it.
